Summary: “Harvey’s in a bad place. The last time I saw him like this, things did not end well.” Jessica moved smoothly back around her desk and pulled open the middle drawer. She pulled out a key and swipe card and walked straight back up to Mike, coming right into his personal space and pressing the items hard into his hand. “Whatever you said to him, it’s on you to fix this.”

The trial run is over, PearsonHardman is no longer under attack and even Tanner has let go of his choke-hold on Harvey’s career. So why doesn’t this feel like a win? Set between 2x07: Sucker Punch and 2x08: Rewind.

Thoughts: It’s always nice to read something where Mike is the one with a bit of a possessive streak—this fic is so freaking tender, and is about what happens when Harvey spirals a bit out of control/gets slightly out of his depth, but has Mike to bring him back. God, it’s just gorgeous.

Summary: It wasn’t like Harvey to let his heart make the decisions. But the boy just looked so hopeless hanging there, his fragile, naked body almost blue under the fluorescent lights of the city pound …

Thoughts: I liked how the author managed to create a whole universe in a relatively short fic, and how ingrained Harvey was into that world—he genuinely believed he was above Mike, and it all managed to be in character, if a bit disturbing at points. Overall I enjoyed it quite a lot, and I’ve been seeing other alpha/omega fics popping up since, which is cool.

Summary: Harvey Specter didn’t fall in love. Except when he did. And it was all Mike-fucking-Ross’s fault.

Thoughts: Oh God I loved this—Harvey’s narration was hilarious, and the whole thing was just this side of crack. I particularly liked this description of Mike:

But Mike? Mike was different. He could compartmentalize everyone else, but he couldn’t box Mike. Everything about Mike defied classification and itemization. He was messy. Messy drove Harvey up the wall.

Definitely worth a read if you want something that’s going to make you grin like an idiot :’)

Harvey smiles, slowly, and shakes his head. “No.

Thoughts: Okaaaaay wow, I didn’t realise this was a watersports fic because I was dumb and didn’t read the tags properly but hey, it was kind of a nice surprise, and a rare thing in this fandom XD Basically 3k of kinky smut.

Summary: Mike is a famous musician who, to avoid the paparazzi, happens to stumble into the gay bar where Harvey is working to pay for college. After spending a night together, both of their worlds begin spinning wildly out of control. Harvey needs to figure out how to be okay, how to maybe live without Mike, and how to end his relationship with someone who ended it a long time ago. Mike needs to figure out how to take care of the boy that he can’t be without, how to keep his career going and stay true to himself, and if Harvey is worth changing everything. What will become of their relationship with the people around them? What will become of their relationship? Is Harvey worth it?

Thoughts: I don’t think I’ve ever read a fic where Harvey’s younger than Mike. The change of his age and his profession (Harvey is something of a stripper) makes for quite an OOC Harvey, and that usually is a serious turn off for me because I love how Harvey is in canon, but I really enjoyed this :3 It was quite dark and angsty, but then Mike created this sort of beacon and the writing was gorgeous—really poetic in places. Also, I fell for the OC a lil bit heee, OC’S IN THIS FANDOM ARE ALWAYS SO GOOD. Make sure you read all the warnings before diving into this one.

Summary: Harvey takes Mike out for a meal in order to get to know him a little better, although he actually has rather a strange way of going about it.

Thoughts: This is so cute! Harvey let’s Mike pick where they go to eat, and basically spends the whole evening telling Mike what he already knows about him :3 It wasn’t ~officially a date but djhsdfg d’aww

Summary: “You don’t owe me anything, Mike.”
“I owe you everything!”

Thoughts: Well, this was sort of devastating, in a really heart-breakingly good way. I loved the way it was written—the POV changes could, I guess, be a bit jarring, but it flowed pretty smoothly and some of the descriptions were gorgeous (there was a particular paragraph about fear that I loved). I liked the way Harvey was slowly letting Mike into his life, completely willing while at the same time still very Harvey about it, with various conflicting emotions *pokes him*. 

Summary: After a long day of having to listen to CEO, after CFO, after COO lie through their teeth, all Harvey wanted to do was spend the next six to eight hours in blissful silence without Mike talking his ear off. Unfortunately, it would seem the hotel’s computer system had different ideas in mind when it manages to lose half their reservations, which is how Harvey found himself sharing the hotel’s last room with Mike.

Sometimes the universe really hated him.

Thoughts: Wheeee, forced-to-share-a-bed fics are always fun XD
